Facilities coordinator

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Facilities Coordinator to be at the heart of our warehousing and transportation services, ensuring our facilities run efficiently and safely.
At Hinkley Point C, we’re building two new nuclear reactors – the first in a new generation of power stations delivering zero-carbon electricity to six million homes. As a Tier One partner to Nuclear New Build (NNB), we provide essential warehousing and transportation services.
This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00 till 16:00 with occasional Saturday work when required. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance across multiple sites
- Support procurement by sourcing quotes, raising purchase orders, and building business cases
- Escort and coordinate contractors to complete maintenance works to the highest standard
- Manage maintenance logs and ensure compliance with site protocols
- Oversee Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including cataloguing assets and scheduling services
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in facilities management and basic repair work using hand tools.
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and external contractors.
- Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities through continuous improvement.
- High attention to detail and compliance with safety standards.
- Basic MS Office skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset (driving licence required).
