Finance Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our Wigan site, supporting our customer, Heinz. This role will ensure the commercial, profit, retention and contractual objectives are met and exceeded and importantly help drive high standards.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. This role is hybrid with the requirement to be onsite 4 days per week. We are happy to consider the hours 08:00 to 16:00 or 08:30 to 16:30.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team to build capability and drive high performance
- Responsibility for both the P&L and balance sheet, ensuring adherence to policy and procedure.
- Delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting and interpretation of the operations on a weekly and periodic basis.
- Prepare the annual budgets and customer forecasts to strict timelines and standards.
- Provide Financial assistance to the operational teams when building business cases.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience within a fast-paced Senior Finance role, ideally within logistics or similar industry
- Proactively challenge and influence teams, bringing curiosity and a performance-focused mindset
- Build strong relationships at all levels, with proven experience in team development and using systems to support operational success
- Fully ACCA or CIMA qualified
