Warehouse Operative Role

 

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Colleagues to join our team at Kraft Heinz in Wigan. You will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, preparing, repacking, loading and unloading customer orders.

 

This is a full time, permanent role. You will be working Monday to Friday, on a rotational shift, 06:00- 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Repacking customer products to specification, using manual and semi-automated processes e.g., building promotional stands, re-traying products, re-stacking pallets, quality checks
  • Loading/unloading vehicles and completing associated paperwork
  • Replenishing stock, including stock rotation and pallet top-ups
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy work environment and complying with food safety (HACCP) standards
  • Performing quality checks, sorting and labelling
  • Working to a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all tasks
  • Complying with agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment

 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes
  • Experience of driving MHE, such as FLT, LLOP, ECB, Reach Truck is desirable
  • Team player with a “one team” mindset
  • Flexible and adaptable to varied tasks and locations
  • Positive, can-do attitude with motivation to meet and exceed targets
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards
