GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of administrator to join us on a key contract – for our customer B&Q. You will play a key role in supporting the Administration, Regional and Area Operations Managers with administrative support in all aspects of their activities.
This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. On a Monday the hours of work are 06:00 – 14:30, Tuesday to Friday the hours of work are 08:00 – 16:30. We do require a level of flexibility with start and finish times - this is logistics after all! However, we appreciate that flexibility is a two-way street and hybrid working is available, you will be required to work in the Worksop office 2 days per week.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £24,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Complete Van & Hiab shift rotas for the coming weeks, including booking agency personnel in advance for the rotas and manage all daily changes in the shift plan
- Ensure population of Tachomaster with all absences/rest days ensuring regular housekeeping to keep the system live and up to date
- Manage holiday & absence for your area, including completion of working time directive register
- Ensure DVLA licence checks have been requested and verified for agency bookings
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous Administrative experience within a fast-paced office environment
- Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail, able to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritise and organise workloads, then work the plan
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel
