Finance Business Controller

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller, this role will be supporting our numerous customer sites throughout Belgium, so is an exciting opportunity and fantastic time to join us!

What you do on a typical day
• Reporting into the Financial Planning and Analyst Manager you will lead a team of 4/5 Site controllers
• Ability to monitor and report financials and operational performances
• Measure and communicate results on key leavers effectively within the business unit
• Align and build partnerships across functional areas to raise awareness of financial performance and promote communication
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes to influence stakeholders
• Early identification of operational opportunities and make recommendations
• Investigate variations and effect on operations
• Profit improvement plans


What you need to succeed at GXO
• Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiation
• Degree (Master’s / Bachelors), preferably in economics or similar
• A demonstrable track record gained in a financial/business analyst environment/role
• Detail oriented with superior analytical skills
• Familiarity with financial principles and concepts
• Utilisation of data through various BI systems
• Ability to manage a team – guiding and supporting
• Fluent in English

• Proficiency in Dutch (an advantage)
