HR Manager (6 month FTC)

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our team in Andover, supporting our customer, Co-op.  As a HR Lead you will be responsible for advising on ER cases, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to, supporting the managers and teams with payroll alongside ensuring the HR data is managed and processed in line with HXO and statuary requirements.

 

This is a full time, 6 month fixed term contract, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00 or 09:00 till 17:00 however, we do ask for flexibility, this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day as a HR Manager:

 

  • Accurately managing HR KPI’s on site, to include absence, headcount and other key measurables
  • Developing and implementing colleague communication and engagement strategies across the contract
  • Coaching and training Managers and Supervisors on HR matters, process and policies
  • Ensure that company standards and policies & procedures are effective and are implemented on a consisted basis across the site

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Preferably CIPD qualified or working towards graduate status
  • Previous experience of working within a transport and logistics industry would be highly desirable
  • Strong experience with of managing Employee Relations processes, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management
  • An up to date knowledge or understanding of employment law
