Are you an HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to further develop within an international organization? Then this role might be for you. GXO Logistics is looking for an HR Administrator for 38 hours per week at our site in Zellik.
What you do on a typical day
- Providing day-to-day 1st line of HR support to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and HR-related questions
- Delivering a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires
- Managing HR administration, ensuring personnel files and documentation are accurate, compliant, and confidential, keeping it all up to date in our systems
- Tracking and administering employee leave, including sick leave, personal leave, and other absences in collaboration with the Time and Attendance team
- Partnering closely with Operations to provide practical HR guidance and support
- Maintaining a visible presence on the work floor to support employees and promote a positive working culture
- Supporting and implementing GXO HR initiatives at site level
- Collaborating with the onsite HR Business team and HR Administration colleagues across regions to improve HR processes
- Actively supporting health & safety and sustainability initiatives on site
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and French (verbal and written); basic English is required
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, or Secondary level (middelbaar) with at least 2-year of experience in an HR-related role
- Good knowledge of Belgium labour law and social security fundamentals
- System-savvy and comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel
- Experience and knowledge working with HRIS systems (e.g., similar to Visma & SDWorx)
- Accurate, proactive, and service-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Due to location and occasional visit to other sites driving licence is required
