Class 2 Driver HIAB

GXO are looking for a Class 2 Driver who has a passion for customer service to join our team in Portbury carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our Wickes contract. Delivering kitchen and bathroom flatpack products as part of a two-person crew to customer houses and flats. As required to deliver bulk items to customer homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores.

Pay, benefits and more: This position operates from Tuesday to Saturday starting between 5am and 7am equating to a 45-hour working week. We offer £18.07 per hour (£42,285.35 Per annum) as well overtime pay at £17.54 an hour! In addition, we offer the following:

· £500 for recommending a lorry driver friend and your friend also gets £250! What you'll do on a typical day:

· Drive Company vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation

· Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure at all times

· Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately

· Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner

· On return to site, you will report to the traffic office for full debrief

· This role ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems What you need to be successful at GXO:

· Must hold a valid in date Class 2 licence

· Must hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card

· Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)

· Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience

· Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised

· DBS check will be undertaken
