Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our ASOS site in Barnsley. In this role, you'll provide efficient administrative support to the payroll department. Taking a proactive approach to ensuring a high quality and timely output is consistently maintained.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Assist in co-ordinating all aspects of the monthly and weekly payroll activities in line with GXO timelines and schedules including additional hours, sickness, absence, and holiday
- Efficiently update and maintain Time and Attendance (T&A) system with new starters, holidays, and absence
- Assist with payroll checking processes as well as any post payroll queries ensuring issues are dealt with / escalated promptly
- Maintaining and updating payroll information and resolving any discrepancies
- To produce weekly/monthly payroll statistics and reports
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience of processing the payroll cycle from processing to query resolution
- Strong abilities in Excel; including the ability to create VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and using formulas
- Experience in using Time & Attendance systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
