Class 1 Night Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Class 1 Night Driver to join our Tarmac team in Barry, CF62 3ZR.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, typical start is 16:00 and contracted to 40 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- You will be trunking and loading bulk cement tanks and tautliners of palletised packet cement
- From Aberthaw to onward distribution to locations within South Wales and the South West England
- Bulk cement deliveries to customers, full bulk discharge training provided!
- Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
- Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Valid Category C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving articulated class 1 vehicles
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and capable of handling equipment safely
