Here at GXO Blyth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Administrator to join the team, working in partnership with B&Q. You will be responsible for carrying out the clerical functions of the warehouse and operate the computerised elements of the warehouse operational system to ensure the completion of all tasks in line with standards and scheduled requirements.

 

We are offering a full-time, permanent opportunity working a rotating 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. Working hours alternate weekly between 07:00 - 17:00 and 13:00 - 23:00, providing variety and regular extended periods of time off.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Maintain accurate system data, completing all transactions and data input across systems, databases and spreadsheets within required timescales
  • Prepare key reports and ensure all paperwork is processed, filed and archived correctly
  • Resolve queries from the warehouse and customers, escalating issues to the appropriate manager when needed
  • Follow all system processes and Health & Safety procedures while working to set targets and deadlines

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Numerate, computer literate, and confident using Microsoft packages; experience with JDA/WMS is an advantage
  • Good communication skills with strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise workload, work under pressure, and adapt to changing requirements with a flexible approach
  • A team player who uses their own initiative, is willing to undertake training and understands basic Health & Safety expectations
