Warehouse Team Leader

Here at GXO, we're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Adidas operation at Marston Gate on the PM shift. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll lead and support a team to achieve operational targets across safety, quality, productivity and customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll create a positive team culture, drive colleague engagement, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the operation. This is a full time, permanent position working Sunday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,304.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead, motivate and support a team to achieve operational KPI, quality and productivity targets
  • Manage daily workload allocation, resource planning and operational priorities to meet customer requirements
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures and standards
  • Monitor colleague performance, absence and development, carrying out reviews and supporting ongoing training
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and improve team performance

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics or fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, coach and influence colleagues at all levels
  • A proactive and organised approach with the ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting
  • A positive, flexible and professional attitude with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. and continuous improvement
