Warehouse Team Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our team in Bellshill, supporting our customer Morrisons. As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will direct, control and monitor all warehouse operatives on shift, ensuring completion of daily functions, fully, safely and accurately while being aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, working an any 5 days from 7 shift pattern of 14:00 till 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,690.04 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
  • Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
  • Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
  • Management of the warehouse training requirement and function

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution or supply chain environment
  • Excellent people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, performance management and employee engagement
  • Competent in the use of Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting tools
  • Understanding of absence management, disciplinary procedures and employee relation practices
