Here are GXO, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager, to provide dedicated, hands-on HR leadership at our Wynyard Park site. Partnering closely with the Site General Manager and leadership team, you’ll play a key role in embedding GXO’s culture, values and people strategy across the operation.
This is a true generalist role with real influence, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys driving engagement, capability and change.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Leading employee relations activity, including union engagement, discipline, grievance and performance management
- Leading and supporting organisational change, culture and engagement programmes
- Driving engagement, communication and wellbeing initiatives across the site
- Supporting learning & development activity and delivering on-site training where required
- Managing and developing a site HR team (HR, Payroll, Reception and Trainers)
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a similar HR Manager / senior HR generalist role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders in an operational environment
- Experience of change management and cultural development
- A pragmatic, resilient HR professional with the confidence to challenge constructively
