Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operation team at Nestle Purina, Hams Hall. You will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, preparing orders for dispatch while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with opportunities to develop you skills, including forklift truck duties.
This is a full time, permanent role. You will be working in Any 5 out of 7 rotating shifts, 06:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:00 & 22:00 – 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing products for dispatch to customers across the UK
- Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move stock and support warehouse operations
- Creating promotional materials and completing associated warehouse task
- Supporting warehouse operations while maintaining quality standards
- Working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous warehouse experience, manual handling and/ or FLT operations would be advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards
