International QA Manager

We are looking for an International QA Manager to join our flagship M&S site in Bradford. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with international standard operating procedures and quality control regulations, applying up-to-date knowledge of current laws and regulations to operations.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working 37.5 hours per week on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern. This will typically be Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:00 – 18:00, however some flexibility will be required in peak times – this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £33,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensure all processes, products, and services meet required standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Lead exceptional handling requirements, support pick accuracy checks, conduct VAS compliance checks, performing in-house audits and managing bespoke requests and consumables
  • Oversee MENA accounts, coordinating with the stock team on Windsor Framework requirements, managing stock separation and documentation for non-EU wines and rice exports to the EU, and ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and export regulations
  • Support claim investigations, monitor team performance and manage VAS operations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A proven background within a fast-paced warehouse environment and familiarity with audit processes within this environment
  • A skilled team player and natural people person, you`ll be able to support the performance and accuracy of the team against business standards and to meet challenging performance targets
  • The ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
