L&D Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for 2x Learning and Development Manager’s to join our teams in Bradford, supporting our customer M&S. The roles will sit separately, lining into the respective site HR Managers, with one being based at the Foods site and the other role siting within the Clothing & Home site. You’ll be responsible for leading the on-site L&D presence and developing the L&D plan to support the site strategy; bringing innovation to life to help transition the site into the digital future.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Given the nature of the role and the world of logistics, we do ask for flexibility.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £45,000.00 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Plan, coordinate and lead the delivery of leadership development training across the site
- Support the talent and succession agenda to provide a clear career path for all
- Identify digital opportunities to support the digital agenda and employer of choice status
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers to better understand key business drivers and devise tactical improvement plans to support continued growth and success
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience within a similar L&D role of design, delivery and evaluation, with an understanding of workplace learning principles
- Experience of building and launching an L&D strategy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ready to change gears and plans quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, able to confidently deliver training
- IT literate and able to build, development and manipulate training plans
