Warehouse Team Manager

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our M&S site in Bradford. You will lead a large operational team to deliver outstanding performance across safety, quality, service, people and cost. You'll play a pivotal role in developing colleagues, enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring we consistently exceed customer expectations.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000.00 per annum and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and develop Team Leaders, support functions and warehouse colleagues, creating a positive and high-performing culture
- Drive operational performance by managing productivity, KPIs, service levels and resource planning.
- Champion health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation and best practice standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs and add value for both XPO and M&S
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting the delivery of the site's operational strategy
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven operational leadership experience within FMCG, logistics, warehousing or a fast-paced customer-focused environment
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
- Experience managing productivity, KPIs and operational performance metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach and a drive for continuous improvement
