Material Coordinator

Here at GXO, we’re seeking a Material Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth management and delivery of materials supporting the construction of Hinckley Point C, Bridgwater. Working closely with project teams, suppliers and warehouse operations, you’ll coordinate inbound deliveries, maintain accurate records, and help ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with strict regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,585 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Coordinating end-to-end inbound deliveries, including scheduling, supplier liaison and delivery slot management
- Building strong relationships with Project Managers, suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow across site
- Creating and maintaining accurate inventory records, documentation and filing systems within multiple business platforms
- Supporting reporting, forecasting, planning activities and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience within a warehousing, logistics, inventory or materials coordination environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with both internal and external partners
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, document management systems and email management
