Transport Administrator Fixed Term Contract - Bridgwater

At GXO we are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our team in Bridgwater with our customer EDF.
This is a full-time role on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day between 07:00 and 17:00, therefore some flexibility is needed.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Booking, cancelling and amending delivery slots on the HPC Delivery Management System
- Maintaining accurate records on the delivery schedule and for our sites including production of specific reports for the management team
- Attend Daily meeting/calls with site DMS and logistic teams
- Deliver first class communication to internal and external stake holders, including our drivers, operators and customers
- Support transport planning process in the absence of the Transport Planner
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A hands-on approach and to be able to accept and deliver change where necessary
- People and customer focused, with the ability to engage at all levels both internally and externally
- Works to a high standard of detail meeting deadlines, with a good ability to prioritise
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, Power BI and Manhattan is desirable
- Experience of working within a logistics environment is desirable
