Warehouse Operative

GXO Logistics is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Operative to join our team in Emersons Green, Bristol (BS16 7FQ), supporting our customer, Sainsbury's. This role is based within our chill chamber operation. Don't worry though, full thermal PPE is provided to help keep you comfortable throughout your shift.
We are recruiting for either a 6-week rotating rota (5 days from 7) or a fixed Thursday to Monday schedule, with shifts working 13:00 to 21:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Work in our temperature-controlled chill chamber, handling chilled food products
- Accurately pick and pack orders using a wrist-mounted picking system
- Support a range of warehouse activities to help keep the operation running efficiently
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity and housekeeping
- Follow all health and safety and food safety procedures at all times
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Be comfortable working in a chilled environment throughout your shift with full thermal PPE provided
- A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely carry out manual handling activities, including lifting, pulling and pushing
