Dray Driver Mate

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for Dray Driver Mate to join our team in Coventry (CV34GB) on our Greene King contract.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, offering a great opportunity to become part of a successful and growing operation.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Loading and unloading vehicle
- Assist throughout the delivery and collection process
- Carry out tasks/ reasonable requests as required
- Be responsible for reporting issues to customer care
- Take ownership of paperwork
- Support the driver with navigation as required
- Work as a banksman when required
- Support depot with the off-loading and stowing of empty containers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience as a Driver Mate or similar desirable
- Flexible approach to work
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and adaptability
- Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards
