Class 1 Driver

Are you experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits?

 

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for full-time HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us at our depot in Doncaster for our client, one of the leading retail companies B&Q, on the fixed-term 4 months basis.

 

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on a shift pattern from Wednesday to Sunday with the start times between 03:00 and 05:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

 

  • Accurately and safely delivering goods to customer stores
  • Operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Completing all paperwork correctly and on time
  • Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
  • Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
