Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO logistics, we are looking for permanent, full-time Warehouse Operative to join our Home Delivery team in Doncaster, DN4 5PD.

 

You will be working nights, 40 hours per week, 22:00 – 06:00 on a 5 out of 7 shift pattern.

What you will do on a typical day:

  • Accurately pick, scan, and process stock using handheld devices, ensuring orders are prepared efficiently and correctly for dispatch
  • Operate VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) safely and effectively to move, store, and retrieve goods
  • Load, assemble, and check palletised orders, verifying stock accuracy and quality before shipment
  • Maintain high standards of product care, housekeeping, and warehouse organisation to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, adhering to Health & Safety regulations and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous warehouse experience, preferably within a supply chain environment
  • Experience loading, stacking, and securing items onto pallets safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possession of a VNA or MHE license, or willingness to complete the necessary training required 
  • Strong team player, positive attitude and ability to follow procedures
