HR Business Partner (m/w/d)

Why this role matters

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to join our location in Dorsten. As a member of the local leadership team, you act as a trusted advisor to the Site Leader and management, ensuring effective HR support, compliance, and a strong employee experience.

How you’ll make an impact

• Lead and manage all operational HR activities on site
• Partner closely with the Site Leader and management team on all HR topics
• Drive recruitment, workforce planning and onboarding in collaboration with internal teams
• Ensure compliance with labor law and maintain strong Works Council relationships
• Advise and support managers on employee relations and people management
• Lead and develop the local HR team
• Build and continuously improve HR processes and structures
• Support performance management, employee engagement, and development initiativesContribute to HR projects as well as health & safety activities

What you’ll bring to GXO

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or similar
• Several years of generalist HR experience, ideally in an operational environment (e.g. logistics or production)
• Strong knowledge of German labor law and experience working with Works Councils
• Experience in leading or coaching HR teams is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsStructured, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in German and English
