HR Business Partner (m/w/d)
Why this role matters
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to join our location in Dorsten. As a member of the local leadership team, you act as a trusted advisor to the Site Leader and management, ensuring effective HR support, compliance, and a strong employee experience.

How you’ll make an impact

Lead and manage all operational HR activities on site

Partner closely with the Site Leader and management team on all HR topics

Drive recruitment, workforce planning and onboarding in collaboration with internal teams

Ensure compliance with labor law and maintain strong Works Council relationships

Advise and support managers on employee relations and people management

Lead and develop the local HR team

Build and continuously improve HR processes and structures

Support performance management, employee engagement, and development initiativesContribute to HR projects as well as health & safety activities
What you’ll bring to GXO

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or similar
-
Several years of generalist HR experience, ideally in an operational environment (e.g. logistics or production)

Strong knowledge of German labor law and experience working with Works Councils
-
Experience in leading or coaching HR teams is an advantage
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsStructured, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
-
Fluent in German and English
