Operational Support Manager
What do you do as Operational Support Manager?
As Operational Support Manager you are involved with various operational implementation plan within the supply chain to start a new site and / or to bring an operation back on schedule on an existing site (troubleshooting). In this role you trade on a regional level and you will travel to various sites within Belgium and the Netherlands, where you are needed. In this role you will report directly to the Implementations Director.
Your duties will be;
- Implement or put Operational Readiness in place
- Communication including meeting structure
- Productivity measurement including reporting tools
- Workload planning including Forecasting and workload planning
- Reporting: type, frequency and owners
- Training set up, training matrix including Work Instructions
- Facilities, topics like shopping lists, MHE, ligning and signing and workplace set up
- QESH: BHV organisation, 5S and Gemba walks, RI&E
- Documentation and systems: document flows, mapping structure and user groups
- Supplies such as consumables and waste management
- Enter into dialogue with various internal stakeholders who are part of the implementation (HR, IT, Operations, etc.) and thereby develop standard operational procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure that systems support the physical flows and enable employees to do their jobs
- Ensure that logistical requirements are met when designing products, developments in the supply chain and related quality performance.
- Secure availability of accurate implementation plans for technical changes and challenge the project about timing and impact of the supply chain. Check the correct implementation of this implementation plan.
- Support for project leaders in the management of product-critical paths (quality, timing, costs).
- Encourage the preparation of the supply chain and report the progress for new, revised and phase-out components.

What do we need?
- Education on a bachelor's or master's degree in logistics.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, whereby you have demonstrable results of starting up and / or improving operational processes.
- Strong communicator with decisiveness.
- Leading by example and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
- Super flexible to travel within the BeNe region
- Good oral and written skills in English and Dutch.
