Continuous Improvement Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Greenford, supporting our customer, Waitrose. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will leave and develop the Continuous Improvement (CI) function and deliverables within the operation, providing management expertise, coaching and guidance on all CI activities.
This is a full time, permanent on site position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Work with the operation teams to ensure end to end process flows, variation and data are understood to enable effective CI efforts
- Turn data analysis into insights that is timely, accurate and relevant, that can be used to drive positive actions across the site
- Capture and coordinate all continuous improvement projects, providing in the roll out of successful projects
- Liaise with senior management team to identify and achieve pre-determined target savings for the site through Value Stream Mapping and other activities
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Certified Green Belt or working towards an equivalent qualification (training will be provided if working towards)
- Process orientation with a track record of implementing process improvements and controls within a supply chain environment
- Experience of working at a similar level and have knowledge of Lean and process improvement tools and techniques
