HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Here at GXO Greenford, we are looking for HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team, supporting our customer, Micheldever. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that works together to keep operations moving and deliver excellent service every day.

 

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, contracted to 45 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for a Sunday to Thursday shift pattern, with a start time of 23:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

 

  • Complete trunking and store delivery routes in a safe and professional manner
  • Ensure all vehicle checks are completed before and after each shift
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and comply with company procedures
  •  Deliver excellent customer service while representing GXO and Micheldever
  • Adhere to all transport legislation, driver hours and working time regulations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
  • Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
