What you'll do on a typical day:
- Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI, machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics products from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can drive operational efficiency, automation, and business value
- Lead product backlog management, including prioritization of features, use cases, data requirements, and technical capabilities
- Translate business needs into AI-ready requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics
- Collaborate with Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Platform, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to deliver AI solutions using agile methodologies
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demonstrations, and retrospectives to ensure successful product delivery
- Develop and maintain AI product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and enterprise AI strategy
- Monitor product performance, adoption, and value realization, making recommendations for optimization and enhancement
- Identify and manage AI-related risks, including data quality, model performance, governance, bias, explainability, security, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate AI concepts, opportunities, limitations, and business impacts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption and ensure successful implementation of AI capabilities
- Contribute to the advancement of AI product management standards, governance, responsible AI practices, and MLOps capabilities across the organization
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, digital product management, business analysis, or technical project management
- Experience delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or data-driven products in an agile environment
- Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and stakeholder expectations
- Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management concepts
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguous business challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
- Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Availability for limited travel, typically less than 10%
It'd be great if you also have:
- Experience delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, or advanced analytics products at enterprise scale
- Exposure to supply chain, warehousing, logistics, transportation, or industrial technology environments
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, AI governance frameworks, and responsible AI principles
- Experience working with data science, machine learning engineering, and analytics teams
- Knowledge of data platforms, cloud technologies, and modern AI ecosystems
- Experience measuring product performance, adoption, and business value realization
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
- Experience supporting digital transformation and innovation initiatives
- Passion for applying emerging technologies to solve complex business problems and create business value
