As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support GXO by developing Finance dashboards that provide insights quickly and accurately to business partners. You will play a key role in ensuring we are providing a seamless, consistent user experience and complex data is being translated into actionable and intuitive visuals.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Build and maintain dashboards that are scalable, user-friendly and deliver insights to our business partners in a clear way, under the guidance of the Senior Business Intelligence Manager
  • Develop and enhance data models within Power BI to support visualizations
  • Enhance older dashboards to meet modern standards
  • Identify and implement data process improvements to support Finance models
  • Train users on how to use and understand data within dashboards
  • Troubleshoot and answer questions from end-users
  • Monitor dashboards and data pipelines to ensure reports are refreshing as scheduled

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1+ years of experience developing reports in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, Business Objects, Looker or similar tool
  • Familiarity with SQL and large-scale data warehouses
  • Analytics mindset with the ability to trace data points from the front end dashboard to the data source to understand underlying logic and reconcile against other systems
  • Comfortable understanding both the technical and business sides of analytics, translating complex data concepts into clear insights
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in financial systems like Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. Azure, Snowflake, etc.)
