Warehouse Team Leader

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader, to join our multi-user site in West Hallam. You’ll support the Warehouse/Operations Manager in delivering outstanding operational performance. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day team activities, ensuring workloads are effectively organised and KPIs are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in driving performance, maintaining stock accuracy, and fostering a strong safety-first culture.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Initially you will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:30, however flexibility is required during peak seasons, where you will have rotating shifts.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve and exceed operational KPIs
- Take ownership of stock accuracy, including cycle counts, audits and investigations
- Plan and organise daily workloads, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time
- Champion Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work and best practice
- Engage with internal and external customers, resolving queries and maintaining high service standards
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics leadership role
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation ability in a fast-paced environment
- A strong understanding of stock control and inventory processes
- A proactive, safety-first mindset, with knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
