HR administrator part-time

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Part‑Time HR Administrator to support our La Doria operation in Sproughton, Ipswich. This is a fixed‑term role for 9 months, working 24 hours per week, where you’ll provide essential HR administrative support, helping to maintain accurate records, support employee relations processes and contribute to a positive site culture.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Maintain and update HR systems and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support employee relations processes, including note‑taking for meetings and preparing documentation
- Manage HR administration such as absence, attendance and right‑to‑work records
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, supporting managers and colleagues
- Support engagement activities, reporting requirements and general HR administration
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A flexible, proactive approach with a willingness to learn and support a range of HR activities
