We are seeking a Lead Analyst, Operational Finance, to help launch and stabilize a new customer startup while supporting an established portfolio of operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to help establish the financial foundation of a growing operation while gaining broad exposure to operational finance and business partnership. In this role, you'll gain exposure to startup implementation, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and operational finance while working alongside experienced finance and operations leaders. You'll play a key role in supporting the startup's growth and stabilization while contributing to the ongoing success of an established customer portfolio.

What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of financial activities supporting a new customer startup through implementation, stabilization, and ongoing operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to track open issues, follow up on commitments, and help drive action items to timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets, and financial models that support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support customer invoicing, revenue tracking, and month-end financial activities.
- Partner closely with Operations, HR, Engineering, Accounting, and Project Management teams to support business objectives.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that improve visibility and support operational and financial performance.
- Perform ad hoc analysis related to labor, productivity, profitability, customer growth, and operational initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and financial controls.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, accounting, budgeting, or business analytics.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and operational stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
It’d be great if you also have:
- Experience supporting logistics, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, or startup operations.
- Experience with Oracle, Power BI, ePBCS, Snowflake, or similar financial systems.
- Knowledge of customer invoicing and contract-based financial models.
- Experience working directly with operational leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts.
