Transport Administrator

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for permanent, full-time Transport Administrator to join our team in Thrapston for our customer, an Irish multinational fashion retailer, Primark.
You will be working on a shift pattern of Monday – Friday with the hours of 08:00 – 16:00.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Support the day-to-day management of transport fleet compliance and regulatory administration
- Ensure that all vehicles remain legally compliant, roadworthy, and available for operation
- Ensure obligations relating to vehicle maintenance, tachograph compliance, fleet inspections are met
- Provide accurate updates on vehicle availability, repair progress, and expected return-to-service dates
- Manage vehicle download schedules to ensure legal compliance with tachograph regulations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using transport management and fleet maintenance systems
- Good knowledge of tachograph legislation and compliance principles
