Class 2 Driver

We’re on the lookout for dedicated drivers to help deliver freshly roasted Costa Coffee beans and delicious food items to stores across the North East, North West, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. You’ll be driving a temperature-controlled 18T vehicle, ensuring every delivery is made safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

This is a full-time, permanent role based on an ‘any 5 out of 8’ night shift pattern, with start times between 19:00 and 21:00. You’ll be contracted for 48 hours per week, offering you stability and a consistent workload.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient products to Costa Coffee stores on a multi-drop route, using totes and tote boards
• Unload stock efficiently at each delivery point, ensuring accuracy and care
• Collect store waste and return it to the depot as part of the delivery cycle
• Navigate busy urban areas, managing high traffic and limited parking with confidence and professionalism
• Conduct routine vehicle checks, promptly reporting any defects or maintenance concerns
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately to support smooth and efficient operations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
