Here at GXO, we're looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our busy and collaborative HR team on our Nutmeg site based in Leeds and covering Nutmeg Brighouse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused HR professional who enjoys working at pace, partnering with operational leaders, and making a genuine impact on the colleague experience. You'll provide expert HR support across a wide range of employee relations matters, drive engagement initiatives, support people development activities and help shape a positive, high-performing culture. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 9-5 with flexibility required

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £39,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Partner with managers to provide expert HR advice and support across performance management, employee relations and people-related challenges
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence and employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures
- Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, events, surveys and communications across the site
- Analyse and report on key HR metrics including attendance, attrition, headcount and absence trends to support business decision making
- Support recruitment, people development programmes, HR projects and cultural change initiatives that drive business performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced logistics, transport or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and employee relations case management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels
- A proactive and resilient approach, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- CIPD qualification, part qualification, or a willingness to work towards professional accreditation
