Thursday-Sunday 9:00pm-7:00am

Pay rates starting at $29.00 and $2.00-3.00 Shift Diff per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week. 

 

About the role

 

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities and ensuring timely, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day

· Drive 53ft tractor and trailer in and around the site or on public roads s

· Touch freight position

· Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices

· Perform routine inspections

· Communicate effectively with dispatch

 

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO

 

At a minimum you’ll need:

· 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years

· Must be at least 18 or 21 years old

· A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

· Appropriate additional endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required) 

It’d be great if you also have:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
