Facilities Colleague

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Facilities Colleague to join our team supporting our Screwfix contract in Lichfield.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,812.50 and receive 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance of the external & internal site décor & building fabric and responsible for repairs as of when
• Ensuring items for re-cycling and disposal are segregated accordingly, stored for collection and are accounted for
• Ensure internal hygiene & housekeeping standards are continuously improved to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
• Operating counterbalance and MHE cleaning equipment
• Daily yard duties, including hygiene, emptying main bins across site, pallet control
• Supporting racking maintenance, service and repairs 
• Supporting with fire alarm, call point, sprinkler testing, and various other testing i.e. Truck wash, Water, Backup Generator, Pump house valve, Mains Pumps
