Warehouse First Line Manager (Nights)

Here at GXO, we’re seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Primark Lutterworth site. You’ll lead warehouse operatives and administrators on shift, overseeing daily operations within a high-volume distribution centre. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll drive productivity, safety, and accuracy while upholding Primark’s high standards of product care and brand reputation.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work across our night shift on a ‘4 on 4 off’ basis, 18:00 till 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £37,474 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, coach and support operational teams to deliver daily productivity, accuracy and service targets
- Coordinate workflows across goods in, picking, packing and despatch, including automation activities
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards, housekeeping, and 6S principles
- Manage headcount, overtime, and workflow to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements
- Monitor KPIs, conduct shift handovers, and drive continuous improvement across operations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience leading teams in a fast-moving logistics or distribution environment
- Strong working knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office applications
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage, motivate and influence others
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and take initiative
- Flexible, detail-focused and professional approach with a strong leadership mindset
