Warehouse Shift Manager - WIN - Lutterworth | Carlsberg

We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join us at our Carlsberg Britvic site in Lutterworth. You’ll provide leadership and guidance for the warehouse teams across departments, ensuring that they have all the tools they need to do their role and that the operation runs smoothly. You’ll be safety focussed and have experience of driving continuous improvement and know your stuff when it comes to warehouse management systems

This is a full time, permanent position and you’ll be working Monday to Thursday 21:00 – 05:00 and Friday 21:00 to 01:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £41,4700.00 plus £5053.78 night shift allowance. In addition, we also offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Motivate and manage the team to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives
• Effective management of resources to achieve KPI’s (cost, quality, service, and absence)
• Ensure a proactive approach to Health & Safety via risk assessment and by ensuring that warehouse team members comply with Health and Safety policies and requirements
• Conduct regular individual reviews and when necessarily agree a performance improvement plan.
• Time & Attendance management
• Process control of order, loading/tipping of vehicles and the returns operation
• Responsible for ensuring excellent working relationships with the Customer representatives
• Must be proactive in seeking improvements in process/methods of operating and also in the introduction of best practice within the site

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• You’ll have relevant experience of working in a high-pressure environment with the ability to manage a team of staff towards achieving objectives
• You will be customer focused, able to build effective relationships with team, customer and other third parties
• We need you to have skills in and knowledge of warehouse management systems
• You will possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and written at all levels
