Class 1 Night Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 Night driver to join our delivery team in Middlewich for our customer, British Salt.

You will be contracted to work nights on a 4 on 4 off rota, 18:00 and 06:00, working 42.46 hours per week.

 What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You’ll be transporting produced goods between the production site, collecting from Winnington, Northwich and delivering to Smart Warehouse in Middlewich, providing excellent customer service
  • Loading, securing, and delivering stock accurately and on time to minimise damage, including collections and returns
  • Clearing factory-produced stock and completing safe, timely multi-drop deliveries
  • Following safe working practices, reporting vehicle defects, and completing required training and PDA tasks

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A full UK driving licence with category C+E Entitlement       
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Excellent customer service skills and flexible can-do attitude
  • Must have good geographical knowledge
