Customer Service Admin

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our British Salt operation in Middlewich. You will support our daily operations and deliver exceptional service to our customers and internal teams. You will provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based on-site. You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £24,920.13 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, site guidelines, and GXO values
- Operate internal and customer IT systems to support day-to-day operational administration
- Provide effective customer service and administrative support across the site
- Communicate daily with drivers, warehouse teams, and internal/external customers to resolve queries
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and carry out additional duties as required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a customer service or general administrative role
- Strong customer-focused approach with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- High attention to detail with an accurate and methodical way of working
- Confident PC literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, flexibility with workload and shifts, and a willingness to support continuous improvement
