PMO Analyst

Are you looking for a genuine gateway into project management? Do you enjoy bringing order, structure, and consistency to complex work? Are you confident enough to hold senior stakeholders to account?

Here at GXO, Inteq is looking for a PMO Analyst / PMO Administrator to support our growing Project Management Office and help embed consistent standards, governance, and high‑quality reporting across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing automation integrator where the PMO function is still evolving, meaning your impact will be visible, valued, and genuinely shape how projects are delivered.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers across long‑running, technically complex projects, gaining hands‑on exposure and laying strong foundations for a future career in project or programme management.

This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:30 with a requirement to be in our Milton Keynes office each Tuesday. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary between the range of £24,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Maintain and manage RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are consistently captured, updated, reviewed, and escalated
  • Compile weekly project status reports, chasing updates from Project Managers and supporting company‑wide communications
  • Support project governance, ensuring gates, reporting, and evidence are completed in line with agreed standards
  • Record and manage action logs, chase owners, and escalate where needed to keep projects moving
  • Set up and maintain project documentation and folders, advising teams on best practice and improving consistency across projects

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Strong organisation, time‑management, and attention to detail, with confidence working independently
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication, including the ability to push back and hold stakeholders to account
  • Good PC literacy, especially Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, improve processes, and take ownership
  • Exposure to project management, PMO, logistics, or automation environments
