Multi Tasking Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Multi-Task Warehouse Operative to join our team working in partnership with our customer in Motherwell, ML1 4XJ

You will be working on a full-timepermanent basis, on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, 37 hours per week, start time from 07:00. You must be flexible to cover any 5 from 7 days if required.

 

In accordance with National Security Requirements all roles related to this site and contract are subject to the successful candidate achieving suitable personal security clearance.

 What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You’ll be using Reach Truck and Counterbalance MHE, supporting smooth workflows, playing a hands-on role in a daily warehouse operation
  • Deliver quality through accuracy, completing paperwork and documentation correctly to help drive efficiency and excellent service for our clients
  • Thrive in a supportive team environment, helping train new and existing colleagues, and staying flexible to meet changing operational needs, including overtime when required
  • Be part of a safety‑first culture, working in line with Health & Safety standards, policies, and values while ensuring all client products are handled with care and precision

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • You’ll have previous Reach Truck and Counterbalance experience
  • Confident PC user with good numeracy, communication skills, and basic Microsoft Office knowledge and an eye for attention to detail
  • You’ll be flexible regarding shift patterns
  • Have the ability to work well as part of a team and support others when needed
