People Administrator

Here at GXO, we are looking for a People Administrator to join our BAE Systems site located in Motherwell. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with managers, employees and external stakeholders. As a key member of the site HR team, you'll ensure the smooth operation of HR and payroll activities while contributing to a positive employee experience.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Sunday to Thursday (5 nights shifts) working hours will be 20:30 – 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR database
- Assist with recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies and preparing documentation
- Collate payroll information including hours worked, overtime and absence
- Support weekly and monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Assist with policy updates and employee communications
- Support audit and compliance checks as required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in HR administration and employee lifecycle processes
- Knowledge of payroll processes and payroll administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- NAT5 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards qualification (Desirable)
