Context & Job Purpose

The Senior Analyst – Finance is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and analyzing periodic financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business and site stakeholders. This role emphasizes data accuracy, timely delivery, variance analysis, and continuous improvement of reporting processes. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional and onshore stakeholders to support informed decision-making through high-quality financial reporting and analysis.

 

Key responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports in line with business requirements.
  • Create, publish, and maintain Contribution Margin (CM) reports as per defined division structures.
  • Develop and maintain standard reporting templates, dashboards, and MIS reports.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide meaningful insights into financial performance.

Data Management & Accuracy

  • Consolidate data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, Excel files, and databases.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reports and financial outputs.
  • Proactively investigate reporting anomalies and independently resolve issues at the source.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and data governance policies.

Stakeholder Support & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with division owners and business partners to validate data and align reporting outputs.
  • Respond to stakeholder queries related to reported numbers and financial performance.
  • Support leadership reviews, presentations, and ad hoc analysis requests.
  • Work directly with onshore stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support enhancements to reporting tools, templates, and methodologies.

 

Experience and Qualification Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a reputed university.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), MIS reporting, or similar finance roles.

 

Preferred Skills

·       Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, particularly the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and key business metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, complex formulas).
  • Strong capability in financial data analysis, reporting, and data reconciliation.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and auditing skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with supply chain or logistics operations management concepts.
  • Experience working with global or onshore stakeholders.
