Manager Implementations & Turnarounds - System Support | Continental Europe
Join GXO Logistics in a pivotal role supporting Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations across Continental and Central Europe. As an Implementation Support Specialist, you will act as the essential link between operations, IT and local site teams, ensuring that our Blue Yonder deployments are delivered smoothly, adopted with confidence, and aligned with operational objectives.
With a strong focus on Blue Yonder (BY Discrete / BY Cognitive), you will train local key users, gather and align requirements alongside IT and operations, and provide hands-on support before, during and after go-live. This is a hybrid role that combines the technical depth of a Key User with the project-oriented scope of an implementation lead, offering the opportunity to travel across Europe and make a tangible impact on our sites.
What does your day look like as an Implementation Support Specialist?
- Go-live implementation support: Provide hands-on support throughout WMS go-lives and business turnarounds, serving as the functional and IT counterpart to local teams to ensure a seamless cutover and prompt issue resolution.
- Training and enablement: Design and deliver structured training programs for local key users and end users on Blue Yonder functionalities, fostering understanding and self-sufficiency at the site level.
- Requirements and solution alignment: Collaborate closely with IT and operations to capture, define and constructively challenge requirements, translating operational needs into robust functional designs.
- WMS troubleshooting and support: Diagnose and resolve issues arising within the WMS, identify enhancements, and convert requests into IT solutions, escalating to central or EU IT teams and vendors where appropriate.
- Process design and best practice: Contribute to functional designs, blueprints and work instructions, and implement best practices on the shop floor to ensure operational efficiency.
- Continuous improvement: Leverage WMS data and analytics to monitor key metrics, support post-go-live stabilisation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
