HR Manager

We’re on the lookout for an experienced HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead on all HR initiatives across our site in Ollerton.

 

You’ll be working Monday to Friday, business hours with start & finish times flexible.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Providing dedicated HR Support for Ollerton site within the GXO Direct Business Unit.
  • Ensuring that processes are in place for talent identification, succession planning and coaching for leaders and high potential colleagues
  • Building and driving the site HR People plan to support an overall business plan, developing employee relations agenda
  • Facilitating harmonious employee relations with the site teams and any respective Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
  • Supporting the L&D strategy for the site and delivering on-site training programmes to meet identified training needs

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Have demonstrable experience in a similar role fast paced HR role
  • Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels
  • Proven track record in change management and Cultural Development Experience
  • Be a strong relationship builder and possess good coaching skills
