Planning Coordinator

GXO are looking for an efficient, proactive and adaptable Planning Coordinator. You will be supporting one of the leading distribution centres in Europe with high-end customer products, for one of the largest high street retailers in the country, by co-ordinating the day-to-day planning tasks encompassing all campus functions, ensuring the campus operates efficiently and cost effectively. 

 

The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The working hours are 18:00 – 06:00, working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £31,353.14 per annum, plus an additional night shift premium. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Maintain standard processes for all systems on all functional areas and report issues on stock levels and category strategies to Planning Manager
  • Plan ahead, review and revise as circumstances dictate, understand where the systems cause operational problems and resolve them effectively
  • Identify areas of possible change/improvement, both within their department and the operation as whole
  • Run reports from Catalyst and WCS, communicate system issues to system support

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure to deadlines with a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills
  • Planning and organising skills
