If you are a great driver who enjoys being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you to join our successful two-person home delivery team in Northampton, delivering kitchens and bathrooms on behalf of our Wickes contract at GXO.
Successful colleagues will have the opportunity to join our Class 2 Driver Development Programme, designed to help you gain your Category C (Class 2) Licence through a structured internal training pathway.
You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, starting between 04:00 and 06:00, on a shift pattern of Tuesday to Saturday.

- Successful candidates with be required to pass a DBS search
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Deliver kitchen and bathroom flat-pack products to customers' homes, including houses and flats
- Provide excellent face to face customer service to customer
- Drive company vehicles safely and professionally, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Complete vehicle and equipment checks before each shift and report defects immediately
- Work independently, using initiative to solve problems and deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including the reporting of accidents, incidents, and damage.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A valid and in-date C1 driving licence
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
